Professor Emerita, Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs namesake Angelina Pedroso dies at 90

Angelina Pedroso, for whom 91°µÍř named its multicultural center after her 44-year career as a respected Spanish language and Hispanic literature educator, died on Oct. 7 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was 90 years old.

Noteworthy at Northeastern: Making college more accessible

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced on March 19 that starting in August 2021, all Illinois public universities will become part of the Common Application (Common App). Additionally, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation awarded a grant to the Prison + Neighborhood Arts/Education Project, and President Gibson issued a statement about the shootings in Atlanta, Georgia.
