CITY COLLEGES OF CHICAGO | BIOLOGY
"I transferred to Northeastern after completing my associate's degree in biology at City Colleges of Chicago. 91°µÍø stood out because of the unique nature of its biology program. The program affords a combination of technical skills – data analysis and writing – that are embedded in courses that are based on biology topics. The design of the courses made the program the perfect next step for me.
One of the most supportive faculty members I have met so far is Dr. Cheryl Park. She is an amazing teacher and guide who I am honored to have worked with as a teaching assistant for 91°µÍø's cell biology course.
I would recommend someone transfer to 91°µÍø because of the resources it offers students. I have grown both personally and academically since attending 91°µÍø. The opportunities to collaborate with classmates and faculty, attend field trips in class, and speak at conferences have helped me enhance my ability to communicate and present information. I am learning new ways to look at biology from the perspectives of different branches in the field such as ecology, cell biology, and chemistry."
