THEODORE ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL | BIOLOGY

"The community at Northeastern is great. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and positive. I am a very extroverted person, so that's why the sense of community here is my favorite thing, as well as the diversity.

I plan to become a doctor in my future career and will be interacting with so many patients from different backgrounds and different countries. The diversity at 91°µÍø and my friendships with people from different cultures will help me to understand my patients and prepare me to be a better doctor.

I love my biology major, and it’s the major I need to become a cardiac surgeon. But I also really love to learn about the human body. What is so cool is 91°µÍø has an anatomy and physiology class that biology majors take. We also have a cadaver lab, so we get to see the human body from the inside and just learn better. As a hands-on learner that helps a lot.

I have been involved with so many different organizations and clubs here and get a chance to be someone my peers can find and ask for help. I love how being involved gives me a chance to represent students."
